Bollards Coral and Vigilo
Fully-retractable oil-hydraulic operator with a cylindrical steel post. Designed to prevent access to vehicles and protect private parking or driveways from unauthorised use.
Rapid installation
The oil-hydraulic main unit - piston - post unit fits inside the housing previously cemented into the ground, making the product extremely easy to install.
Construction features
The hydraulic main unit and oil-hydraulic piston are built-in and visible beneath the cover plate.
A rubber buffer protects the top of the column and a type approved reflective strip allows visibility even at night.
In the event of a blackout, the column remains in the extended position and can be lowered using a moulded release key that operates the main unit hydraulic circuit beneath the cover plate.
The traffic control post can optionally be fitted with a solenoid valve for instant lowering of the retractable post in the event of a blackout. The column rises again following a command impulse, when electricity is back.
